DMC Software acquires Rowcol Solutions, a Sage ACT! Business Partner

Rowcol Solutions is acquired by DMC SoftwareDMC Software, announced today the acquisition of Surry based Rowcol Solutions, a Sage ACT! Business Partner. The Peterborough based company closed the deal Friday 1st May 2009 when final contracts were agreed and signed.

Mike Ramsay, Managing Director of DMC Software Solutions said: “This is our first acquisition and we believe this is another way to grow our business in this difficult climate. Rowcol will give us an increase in our ACT! customer base in the South of the country. We are in a great position to offer these newly acquired clients the full range of the Sage and Microsoft products as well as a service that is second to none. Furthermore, we are also looking into several other acquisitions as we speak which may or may not come to fruition. It’s all very exciting here at the moment.”

DMC Software Solutions introduces Credit Hound to streamline credit control

DMC Software Solutions has introduced a new product refecting the huge changes to business credit availabilty that have taken place in the last year: Deloitte carried out a Survey in October 2008 which looked at the attitudes of businesses to obtaining credit in comparison to the results collated in the previous year. 89% of respondents reported that credit was harder to obtain in 2008 than in 2007, and 53% of respondents did not expect the economy to recover until 2010 or later. One of the key survival strategies adopted by the respondents to help them survive the recession was to improve cash flow and credit control.

Link 200 from DMC Software Solutions is the Answer to Sage Software Retirement

The rapid evolution of software development means that all companies have to deal with the imminent redundancy of their essential programmes, Sage programmes, such as SalesLogix version 6.2, particularly being affected. DMC Software Solutions, a well respected Sage, Dell and Microsoft Gold Business Partner, have developed Link 200 as a solution.

As software evolves and develops junior versions are inevitably phased out and this is imminently true of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software SalesLogix version 6.2, by Sage, which has been surpassed many times over with the current version at SalesLogix 7.5. As version 6.2 is eliminated so is any relevant support and Application Integration Support (AIS) with Account software Sage MMS 2.2, now known as Sage 200.
