PNY Technologies announces its 2010 service strategy

Company strengthens its relationship with sales network by implementing a new comprehensive channel programme Marignac, France – 04 March, 2010 –  PNY Technologies, European leader in the upgrade market (Flash cards, USB keys, components and graphics cards), is committed to developing a closer relationship with its European sales network over the course of 2010.

In order to accomplish this, the company has put together a robust service strategy that is driven by its new Partner Portal.Launched in December 2009, the PNY Partner Portal is a 24/7 free-access portal where company news, promotional and marketing material are made available to registered members. By joining the community, members will have privileged access to round-the-clock PNY technical support and customer service, as well as special offers, branding and sales tools (product catalogues, advertising templates and P.O.S. material).The PNY portal will also feature a channel animation programme ” launched in Q2 ”and will be updated with new services on a regular basis such as the ”Built to Order” service and catalogue of P.O.S. material.

The recently launched ”Built to Order” service for USB drives is an example of one of the new services available via the Partner Portal. Companies looking to create their own branded, customised USB Flash drives can visit the portal for an instant online preview of what their device will look like. They can also print a PDF summary and request a quote. With three of PNY’s most popular Flash USB drive models to choose from (Oxford, Attaché Original and City Series), clients can select both the colour and capacity they require (from 4GB to 32GB), while uploading any content that might need to be copied onto each device. Product brochures detailing the full specification for each of these drives can also be downloaded directly from the portal.

PNY has also introduced a catalogue of modular P.O.S. material that is less cumbersome, such as clip strips used to display products on stands or shelving units. One of the main advantages of the new P.O.S. material is that it can be easily shipped and installed in stores.
